Even furniture can have a rhythm: Bundle, designed by Objects of Common Interest for Meritalia®, is a duo composed of table and stool with perfectly complementary shapes. Stacked tubular volumes, entirely covered in glossy coated fabric, make regular compositions marked by repetition and compression. Lashing straps wrap around the layers, showing the tension that simultaneously defines and holds the forms. The result is a balance between expansion and control, where curves, color, and texture generate a sculptural yet surprisingly functional presence.

In line with the most legendary interactive pieces in Italian radical design, the "hole" in the center of the table has a very specific function: to insert the stool. Thanks to the straps that cross it, the stool can be lifted and placed wherever needed: either to complete the tabletop or to function as a stand–alone object. In the home, Bundle is a rhythmic presence that helps organize and characterize the space in a nonchalant yet impactful way: why not have more than one around the coffee table?

In Objects of Common Interest's work, Bundle is a natural evolution of a research that intertwines installation, experiential environment, and sculptural object. The duo's works bridge the influences of Greece and New York, uniting the two contrasting narratives in new forms.

Objects of Common Interest

Founded by Eleni Petaloti and Leonidas Trampoukis in 2016 , Objects of Common Interest engages at the intersection of art, design, and architecture. The studio explores a diverse range of scales, from sculptural objects and installations to immersive environments and public art projects. Based between New York and Athens, Eleni and Leonidas are also the founding partners of the sibling architectural practice, LOT Office for Architecture. Their work has been exhibited internationally at museums, institutions, galleries, and design fairs – including the Noguchi Museum, MAXXI - National Museum of 21st century, Vitra Design Museum, Design Museum Brussels, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, Cycladic Museum Athens, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Québec and many more. Objects of Common Interest was formed with a focus on creating still life installations, experiential environments, and sculptural objects—anchored by a deep fascination with materiality, conceptual exploration, and tangible spatial experiences. Their work bridges the contrasting influences of Greece and New York, blending cultural narratives into unified forms.
