MANUFACTURE AND INNOVATION

Edizioni del Pesce joins the tension between the design idea and mass production: seriality itself is challenged by the artisanal processes experimented with in Gaetano Pesce's own workshop. Pesce, together with his collaborators, established a working method that Meritalia® then learned, preserved, and applied, making it the foundation of its design and product culture.

ART OBJECTS

Drawn from a corpus of objects of various kinds created by Gaetano Pesce, and curated in a selection of vases, luminous objects, mirrors, candelabras and objects, the Edizioni del Pesce characterise a contemporary domestic space, fluid and multifaceted, yet personal as an artist's unique.

From polyurethane tangles of vases to the fairy-tale luminescence of lights and candelabras, Edizioni del Pesce brightens the everyday interiors. Radical novels illuminate the room with incoherent gleams, transforming the space into a fantastical backdrop to the everyday.
